Sherlock Holmes
Holmes stands nine feet tall in deerstalker and cape, pipe in hand, a short walk from his fictional lodgings at 221B Baker Street. Doubleday — who also sculpted Leicester Square's Chaplin — gave the great detective his statue a century after Conan Doyle tried to kill him off.
