General James Wolfe
Wolfe surveys one of the finest views in London from the hilltop beside the Royal Observatory, near his Greenwich home. The statue was a gift from Canada, unveiled by the Marquis de Montcalm's descendant — the general Wolfe defeated, both of them dying on the Plains of Abraham.
