Millicent Fawcett
The first statue of a woman in Parliament Square, and the first there by a woman. Fawcett holds a banner reading 'Courage calls to courage everywhere', and the plinth carries portraits of 59 other campaigners for women's suffrage. It was unveiled a century after the first British women won the vote.
